What vacancies can be shared through MIMU?

MIMU Jobs pages seek to attract and keep qualified staff in humanitarian and development organisations in Myanmar – hence they are open for use only to organisations with a focus on non-profit work in humanitarian, development and peace-related activities. They include Jobs pages for Myanmar Nationals and Internationals. This is a service to share vacancy notices only – MIMU does not engage in any recruitment activities related to posts outside of MIMU.

This service is not open to vacancies for work in the commercial or private sector.

Who can submit vacancy notices?

This service is only available for agencies and entities providing non-profit humanitarian, development or peace-related services or activities in Myanmar – in order to use this service, the agency must be registered in the MIMU Contact List.

How do I submit a Vacancy Announcement?

You can submit your Vacancy Announcement here or by choosing “Submit a Vacancy Notice” under “Jobs” in the Main Menu.

Vacancies are uploaded directly to these pages by agencies registered with MIMU. MIMU does not alter the information provided. Some posts may be applicable for both internationals and nationals.

  • Agencies and entities which are already in the MIMU Contact List can upload directly through Submit a Vacancy Notice.
  • Agencies and entities which are not yet in the MIMU Contact List are encouraged to register by completing the MIMU Contact List Registration Form. How long does it take for the vacancy notice to show on the MIMU website?

The announcements are checked by MIMU and appear online within 1–2 working days. If this is your first time using the MIMU Job Submission Form, or your organisation is not registered in the MIMU Contact List, you will need to complete the MIMU Contact List Registration Form before it can be posted.

The submitted posts will be published on the Job Pages within 1 or 2 working days after processing, and automatically removed following the deadline given for the post. To revise or edit your announcement after submission, please contact: [email protected]

How long are vacancy notices left on the website?

All announcements are automatically removed after the designated deadline.
