Disability in Myanmar 2014-2019
MIMU Analytical Briefs shine a light on topical, emerging and under-explored issues relevant to humanitarian and development support in Myanmar based on analysis of available information. This second Analytical Brief focuses on the situation of persons with disabilities in Myanmar. It compares, for the first time, the disability prevalence rate between 2014 and 2019 providing a resource for more inclusive initiatives and policies, mostly using available data from two national level census exercises conducted in this period.
This Analytical Brief includes a narrative report, an accompanying infographic, and a dashboard, data and a detailed methodology describing the data and calculations used to enable users to undertake their own further analysis
