3W Map by Types of Organization

The 3W map shows:

  • which organizations (WHO)
  • are carrying out which activities (WHAT)
  • in which locations (WHERE).

The 3W map will open showing the 'NNGO+CBO' orgnaization type for the entire country. Please click on the plus sign  on the upper right corner of the map to see the list of available layers. To view the other organization type, please change the sector map by clicking on the sector name under the 'Base Layer' at the upper right corner of the map. The map may take a few seconds to reload with each request for any changes. The number of organization and organization names will appear after zooming in the map. Please see the sector-wise map to see the organizations working in the specific sector.

All UN Agencies: All United Nations Agencies in all sectors

All NNGOs+CBOs: All National Non-Governmental Organizations + Community Based Organizations in all sectors

All INGOs: All International Non-Governmental Organization + Red Cross and Red CrescentSocieties in all sectors

All Organizations : All NNGOs, CBOs, Border-based Organizations, INGOs, Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and UN Agencies in all sectors

Note: The Online 3W includes only activities which are 'In Progress'. Information on recently 'Completed' or 'Planned' activities can be found in the 3W data  files. This map represents information as reported to MIMU by the participatingorganizations. Inclusion of an organization on this map does not imply endorsement by the Humanitarian Country Team (HCT) of the organization or its projects. Note that this map shows organizational activity in a broad sector; it does not portray detailed information such as the volume of assistance, the number of beneficiaries, or the extent to which needs are met or unmet. 

Instruction for Viewing Interactive Web Map

  • To zoom in, scroll the mouse scroll-wheel forward. Road, Railroad, Towns will appear in zoom in levels.
  • To zoom out, scroll the mouse-scroll-wheel backward.
  • To zoom to Area of Interest, hold Shift-key down, left click on the map, and slide the cursor to draw a rectangular box. Release the left mouse button, and the map will resize the zoom according to your rectangle box.
  • To move around the map, left click on the map and drag.
  • To see a list of layers, click on plus sign  on the upper-right of the map.
  • To switch to another layer, select the radio button under Base Layer.
  • To turn on/off the overlays, select/deselect the layer under Overlays.
